qemu: Using ssh communicator to connect: 127.0.0.1

could anyone please help on this. I am using packer version 1.6.. This issue keeps on coming and the build is deleted after timeout..

Set the command line flag --on-error=abort to prevent the cleanup after timeout. Normally this happens because your preseed file is not correctly setting up the ssh server on the vm: https://www.packer.io/guides/automatic-operating-system-installs/preseed_ubuntu

Thanks Megan. This works.

But the qemu process is still running and not killed is there way only to prevent cleanup of output directory..

So when I run the packer it tells the qemu resource is already in use.. I need to kill it manually and then restart.
