Building on a Remote vSphere Hypervisor

hi 

im in a bit of a dilemma, can somone explaint the bleb "hack" that needs to be in place for Building on a Remote vSphere Hypervisor?

Also what predicament is the to build on hyperv-iso and then exporting it to the Vmware environment.?

esxcli system settings advanced set -o /Net/GuestIPHack -i 1

Half an answer:

"The IP Address information is made available by ARP packet inspection and this is disabled by default. If you wish to see the IP Address information, you will need to enable this by running the following command: esxcli system settings advanced set -o /Net/GuestIPHack -i 1"
