How can I assign IP address to a Windows virtual machine through packer? I have tried transferring the "IP.bat" file through packer but it's not working. Is there a way to assign the IP address through boot command?
I am building the virtual machine on Vsphere client

Thank you in advance

hello

yes, exactly in the same way you do it without packer.

I would suggest put all that into the unattended.xml file and use packer to use that file from a floppy.

Whats is your current way of doing it without packer?

packer is an automation tool will do things for you, but the what/order need to be there already
