packer vsphere template from iso

Hi All,

Is there any pdf or documentation for below :

packer -> feed iso -> create VM on the fly with kickstart -> create image of that VM ad store it. 

Below one is basic example :

Also, how do we provide IP address for that temporary VM that we create on the fly, assuming we don't have dhcp server.

packker is a tool that put things toegether but there is an ideal starting point of have done this before

Yeah, i have done this for AWS. 

Do you have an example for vm creation (Vmware) from iso and convert to template ?

If you have done with AWS using packer.. there is no much of a difference if you do it with VmWare... There are some concepts slightly different between AWS and VMWare, but pretty much I'd say you have 90% done, if you have achieved this in AWS...
