Windows 2012r2 with vmxnet3 and pvscsi ( vmware and autounattend )

Has anyone been successful in passing the drivers for pvscsi and vmxnet3 to a windows machine using packer and vmware workstation with an autounattend?

I have got to the point where I can run an install without the autounattend and am able to load the drivers which are passed through via floppy from packer so the disk is available but once I add the autounattend it will not pull the drivers from network or a:\

from what I read once, i think the packer windows use the floppy disk to pass the unattended file.

perhaps that is what is stopping you to pass the driver over the floppy?
