Packer to VMware

new to Packer and new to Azure. 

i have new requirement,  I need to create the templates for both vmware and Azure from Rundeck for both windows and Linux. i just the need somebody to help me on bulding the json. Can anyone ping me?

What do you need?


start from something that works:

ie:


and other for AWS,

modify a bit and go back in case of error.

My requirement is to build the Servers /desktops in VMware , Azure and AWS images from the ISO images (Windows & Linux), I am going to create the powershell scripts for this, however I am looking at the Sample Config files (json) for source and target options.

Please advise

My suggestion will be start simple.

From the repo I suggested find the OS you are after, comment out what you don't need and start with 1 provider, ie VMWARE Desktop 

when you get hat working, you can have 

separate json for each provider that use the same scripts
or have a single json that does multi-provider

Documentation and examples are there, can you clarify if you need help to get you started?
