Warning: You are using Azure Packer Builder to create VHDs which is being deprecated

Hi,

I get the below message from packer when trying to make a VHD, can anyone confirm why this feature is getting deprecated? Also, when will packer drop support for VHD and only use managed image? I tried to find info on this but couldn't find anything.
