to Packer
Hi,
i'm new in packer and I would like to know, if it's possible to use custom windows ISO files as source in order to create images for e.g. AWS.

I hope I found a good solution building a bridge for our already highly automated MDT/SCCM images (mainly used for HW) reusing these for creating cloud images/templates with packer.
Thanks in advanced
Erik

You can use one of the local builders (vmware/virtualbox/qemu) and the amazon-import post-processor to do this. Be sure to check that your license cover this usecase. I'm doubtful that it's worth the effort, you would learn way more things about Windows on AWS than is comfortable ;-).
