Error parsing JSON with packer 1.3.1 inside a debian squeeze docker

Hi there! 

I'm stuck with a really weird "Failed to parse template: Error parsing JSON: unexpected end of JSON input" error on a debian docker VM and packer 1.3.1: https://pastebin.com/BZUs3BFh 

Any idea what could be wrong here? 

I've checked the json with a linter just in case, all is ok.

Fixed, actually it was a sed issue to replace the XXXXXX with the real md5 inplace!
