Best Practices in developing the windows AMI with inplace patches

Hello Everyone,

Can some one suggest the mechanism or tecnique doing in place patch of the server using the packer and powershell? I tried to so much unable to accomplish this task.

Can some one share the snippet of code if any one worked on this?

I'd also recommend checking out https://github.com/boxcutter/windows and https://github.com/chef/bento and check out the ps1 scripts they have for doing updates.
