Hi Folks,

I am trying to build an image using the openstack builder but am encountering an issue where the builder detects the flavor has a disk size of 10GB and takes this in preference of the images size which is 65GB.

Is there anyway to define the minimum image size in the "builders" stanza or alternatively to use image size ahead of flavor size?

Cheers,
Glyn

Hello,

Just to contextualize this more.

the base image you want to use is 65gb, but the logic is not taking that one and using one smaller?

those images have different/same image id?

Can you run a session in debug and share a gist?

Hi Alvaro,

Thanks for getting back to me.

It seems that this behaviour is due to an issue in nova. I have since found a suitable work-around for this.

Cheers,
Glyn
