Packer encryped value not accepted

I'm running Packer validate and I got the following error

Template validation failed. Errors are shown below.

Rerun with PACKER_LOG=1 probably your installation is broken.

Very unlikely. I've tried also with the docker image and it still fails.

Yeah sorry now I got it. You are probably looking for https://www.packer.io/docs/builders/amazon-ebs.html#encrypt_boot

encrypted is a property of ami_device_mappings. The indentation of the docs is wrong (but have been fixed nbut not yet deployed).
