Error running vsphere.iso builder

I am running thru:

https://www.greenreedtech.com/building-vsphere-templates-from-scratch-using-packer-and-the-vsphere-api/

and continually receive :vsphere-iso panic runtime error invalid memory address or nil pointer dereference after running the build

ive attached the crash log tp review

Have you guys run across this?

You should have packer v 1.3.3 for v 2.2 and 2.3 of the plugin, which do you have?
