Spring Campout Has Arrived

Welcome to the Spring Arrow of Light Family Campout
-- It is shaping up to be a great weather weekend. There is a good chance of rain tomorrow evening but most of the weather should clear out by Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon and Sunday looks to be sunny with temperatures in the mid 60's.
-- The best news is that it doesn't matter whether it rains Friday night or not because we have indoor heated accommodations. Plus we can all hang out in the 400 person Lodge with is huge stone fireplace and cook dinner, play games and have fun. If you have any indoor board games or puzzles feel free to bring them for Friday night campers.
-- Speaking of dinner, the usual protocol for Friday night dinner and Saturday morning Breakfast is pot-luck. The Clopton's will be making some pasta and meat sauce for our dinner Friday night and pancakes, sausage and eggs for Saturday morning breakfast. So if you want to join in then bring some extra pasta and sauce or eggs and bisquik and we will all cook together. Or bring your own meal to cook and just hang out with everyone. Remember we have a fully functional kitchen the entire weekend. We just need to clean up after ourselves. I did not bring the Pack grills.
-- If you plan on Tent Camping like the Clopton's are then make sure you do not set up in Mowgli Tent Area which is located directly behind the Western Fort. That area is reserved for the Boy Scouts. We can tent between the TeePee's and the Mountain cabins.
-- I have attached the "2013 Spring Campout" information pdf in case you lost the first copy. It should answer most other questions.
-- Any significant Changes/Cancellations or Emergency information will be sent via our Text Alert System. To sign up visit www.rainedout.com and search for Cub Scout Pack 737 and follow the instructions.
