April 22-24th, Spring Family Campout Registration "Now Open"

Greetings Pack 737,

Registration is now open for our Spring Campout at Camp S. Douglas Fleet in Maidens VA.  Camp Douglas Fleet is located on the same property as the Webelos adventure camp or Camp Brady Saunders.  This year we did not reserve the cabins or dining hall.  Camp Douglas Fleet is located on the Boy Scout side of camp and will consist of Tent Camping only. (no cabins). You need to bring your own tent or borrow one.  Reach out to your Den leader if needed. Back to the basics of scouting. 

This Campout is not only our yearly Spring Family campout but it includes our Arrow of Light Crossover Ceremony.  This Ceremony takes place Saturday evening and is when our outgoing Webelos II scouts will officially cross-over into Boy Scouts and or receive there Arrow of Light Rank which is the highest Rank received in Cub Scouts.  This is always a great campout with Saturday activities like “rain gutter regala”, first aid, fire starting,ultimate frisbee and other stations run by the Boy Scouts from Troop 737.

Cost:  $5.00 p/person or $15.00 p/family recommended donation.  Your family donation covers our costs for  camping plus two full meals which include Saturday dinner/smores and Sunday morning breakfast along with Saturday activities.  As always do not allow the cost to be a determining factor in whether or not you attend the Campout.   If cost is an issue please address it with the Cubmaster or Treasurer upon Camp Checkin. Payment will be collected at camp checkin. (cash,check or credit card)
