For those that are AOL (i.e. Logan & Don & Eli) -- this looks like a good opportunity to learn about other local troops.

Hello Pack leaders!

Please share this flyer and info about the upcoming Webelos Woods campout with your Webelos and Arrow of Light families. This is a great opportunity for the older Cub Scouts to experience Troop style patrol camping, work on requirements, and have fun while meeting local Troops and scouts. They will organize into patrols, meal plan and learn knots and lashings at the pre campout meetings with Troop scouts from Troops 633, 623, and 599. These meetings will be held at St. Stephan's Lutheran Church at 2500 Soquel Ave in Santa Cruz, on both Tuesday, Oct 7 and Oct 14 from 7-8:30pm. Parents are encouraged to attend the planning meetings as well as the campout, and will have a separate parent/leader meeting at the same time with Scoutmasters and leaders from the Troops. The campout will we held on Oct 17-19th, at the Corrilitos Community Center, at 35 Browns Valley Road in Corralitos. At the campout they will have various stations including Scout Troop basics, building and climbing a three legged tower (!), cooking, knots and other scouts skills.

Please pass on this flyer and information. Let me know if you have any questions. I hope your Webelos and AOL's can make it!

Yours in Scouting,
Vanessa Besummer
