Dear Intrepid Cub Scout Leaders,

I hope this email finds you well and enjoying your summer! As I know many of you are either in the thick of or just beginning your annual planning process in preparation for the start of school, I wanted to share a fun and exciting event that the district has put together for Cubs and their families! Our intention is to take a bit of the planning burden off you all for the beginning of the year and supplement your program with a fun unique event—put on in collaboration with the Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History (MAH)!

Citizenship in the Cemetery! 

• When: Sunday, 9/27, 12 - 2PM
• Where: Evergreen Cemetery (261 Evergreen St. Santa Cruz) 
• Cost: Free!
• Space is limited to just 30 Scouts—so sign up quick! 
• Who: ANY Cub Scouts - Lion to AOL! 
• What:
• Enjoy a brief Cemetery Tour paired with a fun Scavenger Hunt!
• Participate in a Post-hunt Cemetery Cleanup
• This cleanup will fulfill the ‘participate in a service project’ element of the Citizenship Adventure—getting you one step closer to that rank patch!
