Hello Loma Prieta Leaders!

 

Join us for the 41st Annual Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 20th, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. This is a great opportunity for your Scouts to live the value of 'A Scout is Clean' while making a real impact in our community.

 

Please take a moment to register your unit’s participation and select your cleanup site here:

You don’t have to go to the beach—lakes, streams, and ponds count too!

 

What to bring:

Buckets, trash picker tools, and reusable gloves from home

Adequate adult supervision for all youth participants

 

Optional patches are available for $3 each (delivered 4–6 weeks after the event).

Hi...count caeden and I into this.... we do this anyways , as caeden is so kind and conscientious about any trash by shoreline .... therefore, this cause is close to heart adn we will be happy to join..

What to do to clean up at "3 mile beach" ?
(I just picked closest next beach)

I am not sure if the wharf is an option, but there is always fishing line we pick up there..

Also, caeden and I have a 3 person kayak and large canoe, if anyone wants to tackle the harbor clean up wise from a fun paddle boat... we could also take them out, but I would need help lifting them off rack

I just realized that Nikki has a soccer game on Saturday from 930am-1130am.

So he won't be able to make it to the cleanup.

Soccer season is tough to do things on the weekend with 2+ kids.
