[PRESS RELEASE] Pack4Linux v0.7 RC1 Released

Cincinnati, Ohio, Feb. 21, 2010 - Today the immediate availability of
Pack4Linux v0.7 RC1 was announced. Pack4Linux is an enterprise ready
Linux distribution geared towards real-time applications. It is based
on Slackware Linux and aims to be powerful and robust, yet simple to
use. Pack4Linux makes it easy to deploy a comprehensive real-time
solution, as it includes a pre-installed real-time kernel and RTAI
libraries, plus a graphical environment and development utilities, all
in a compact 607MB CD image. Pack4Linux v0.7 RC1 is a release
candidate which has been in development for more than a year, and is
suitable for home and developer use, and enterprise research and
development.

About Philip Wernersbach
Philip Wernersbach is an avid GNU/Linux user and enthusiast. Unhappy
with current real-time enterprise distributions, he decided to build
one based on the powerful and stable Slackware Linux. The distribution
eventually became robust enough that he decided to release it to the
public as Pack4Linux. Along with maintaining Pack4Linux, Philip enjoys
researching new technologies and new ways of solving current problems.
