Dear Pack 3 Families,
I hope this email finds you well. There is some important information in this email so please read carefully.
Due to a scheduling conflict at Point Road, I was unable to have our pack meeting this week. We will meet as a pack next Wednesday March 8th 7pm-8pm at Point Road in the Multipurpose room.
This is a Pinewood Derby Informational meeting. We will go over the basics of building the pinewood derby car and the rules of the race. We will also hand out trophies from last year's race. Additionally, the pinewood derby kits will be handed out at this meeting.
We will need at least two parents to be our new Pinewood Derby Coorindors. Please reach out if you have any interest in this. It is a fun event and your child will be happy to see you involved in this. We can talk before the meeting to go over details.
Finally, this will be my 7th and final pinewood derby in Pack 3. My youngest son
will be moving over to the Boys Scouts at the end of this year. It's bittersweet. I have really enjoyed getting involved, volunteering my time and being a part of LS Pack 3. If you have any interest in my role and/ or Pinewood Derby Coordinator. Please contact me.
