Welcome to Camp
Lazarus Resident Camp! We are excited that camp is just a few days
away! Attached is a link to a resource you should read through. It talks
about what to expect at camp, what to bring, and so on.
Check-in is always a
busy time, so here are some reminders to help our THOROUGH check-in process:
- Please make sure that your registration is paid (we
will be able to accept payments),
- Adults have taken their Youth Protection Training
on-line
- You bring completed medical forms (A, B1, B2, C) for everyone attending;
- Copy
both sides of your medical card
for each person in your family attending camp and attach it to your
medical forms;
- Any
medications should be in their ORIGINAL containers (some pharmacies may be able to print a label just
for camp with the quantity needed for camp)
- Swim check is immediately after check-in starts, so
have your campers wear their trunks under their shorts or have them
readily available;
- BRING
A WATER BOTTLE:
- We will have refilling stations throughout camp;
- HAVE
EXTRA SHOES AND SOCKS! We’ve had
a lot of blisters from wet feet this past week, so please have extra
shoes/boots/etc to keep your dry socks dry J
- $$ MONEY NEEDED:
- FAMILY
NIGHT IS THE LAST FULL NIGHT OF
PROGRAMMING. We need to have a count of how many extra visitors are
EATING with us to make sure we have enough food prepared. Meal Tickets are $6 per person. You can
pay cash in the office or by credit card through our camp store.
- UNIT LEADERS PLEASE PROVIDE COUNTS BY THE LEADER
MEETING DAY TWO OF CAMP.
- T-shirts that have been ordered and paid with registration
will be located in the main camp office, near the camp store.
- Shirts will be available for purchase for $10
each. Please bring cash.
- Trading
Post at Beucher will be open most
days and accepts cash only.
- Pick up following the close of camp is 10a.
Most importantly...
bring your camp spirit! Registration opens at 2p. All registrants
must come through the conference room for the registration process to ensure we
meet everyone, attach a wrist band or lanyard to all on camp, and check in
everyone’s medical forms. VISITORS MUST SHOW ID. Please be patient with us as our check-in process can take time due to the required thoroughness we must exercise.
We are looking forward
to a wonderful weekend of camping and are anxiously awaiting your arrival at
camp. You can find our contact information below if you have questions
regarding camp. Thank you again for registering and we look forward to
meeting you soon!
Yours in Scouting,
Your Camp Staff
