den meetings, halloween party

Hi, leaders,

Tonight we are having den meetings.  Next week we are having a Halloween
party.  You can use all or part of tonight's meeting to plan or build an activity
for the Halloween party,   I have no plans yet for the party other than the
usual "bobbing for donuts" and maybe a costume contest.  I'd like each

den to run an activity during the party, and if we need to draft a few

volunteers to bring materials or snacks or help set up, let's have a plan in
place and make a sign-up list in the next couple days.

I'm also running a recruiting information meeting tonight at the same

time as the den meetings, so I'll be talking with parents and there may

be a few visitor boys joining your dens.  Please plan accordingly (if you

are bringing materials for the scouts, bring some extra) and welcome

any prospective new members.
