IMPORTANT: B & G Reschedule, Pinewood Derby, March with the Pack!

Hello all,

After 2.5 days off, I know everyone is ready to be back in school today!! Rest up this weekend, because we are in for a very busy first week of March with Pack 160!!

We have rescheduled the Blue & Gold Banquet to next Thursday, March 5th. This will take the place of our March all dens meeting. We know that it is a lot with the Derby happening on Saturday right after that, but it was the only date in the near future that would work both for the pack and the LSNC, who is presenting our entertainment program.

The details are the same: 6:30 PM in the Thurston MPR. If you plan to attend and haven't signed up, the sign-up genius is here: https://m.signupgenius.com/#!/showSignUp/10c0b48aaab28abfb6-pack1. If anyone can arrive by 6:15 PM to help with set up, that would be much appreciated.  Scouts may also bring their derby cars for a pre-check to make sure they meet specifications before Saturday's race.

Below is a summary of our upcoming events for the next couple months. Separate e-mails will go out with more details as each event approaches. Individual dens may also have their own meetings, which are sent out on the den e-mail lists.

March 5th - 6:30 PM - Blue and Gold Banquet

March 6th (Friday)- 6:30 PM - Set-up for Pinewood Derby.  Pizza & Salad to be provided for volunteers. Scouts may also bring their derby cars for a pre-check to make sure they meet specifications before Saturday's race.

March 7th (Saturday) - 9:00 AM - Pinewood Derby!! Doors open at 8 AM, Derby will start promptly at 9 AM. Coffee will be provided. Please bring a breakfast item (bagels, cream cheese, fruit, juice, etc) to share for a Potluck breakfast.

March 13th - 7:00 PM - Parent Meeting

March 19th - 7:30 PM - Thurston Play @ Clague Middle School. We have traditionally attended the play to support our fellow scouts and classmates who are in it, in place of a March pack meeting. Due to Spring Break, followed immediately by a long weekend, our April schedule is a bit different. There will be no meetings the first or second Thursday of April.

April 16th - 6:30 PM - All Dens Meeting

April 23rd - 7:00 PM - Parent Meeting

April 30th - 6:30 PM - Pack meeting - Carnival, hosted by the Bears!
