Cub Scout Pack 116 - Back to Scouts Day

Good evening Pack 116 Parents,

I am delighted to be writing to you all this evening letting you know that the leadership team has been meeting to plan the first quarter of Scouts and have developed a plan for meeting in person.  Our first Pack meeting will be held this Saturday, August 29th from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM at Ridgeview Park on the north side of McGraw Elementary.  We have registered our event with the Larimer County Health Department and have received a variance to meet in person with a group of 50 people.

We will begin at 9:00 AM with our opening ceremonies of the Pledge, the Oath, and the Law followed by a socially distanced game and a few announcements.  We will then break out into six small groups by Den and rotate through stations hosted by the Den Leaders.  We will all be working on camping merit badge requirements and working on a craft.  We plan to spend about 10 minutes per station.  It will be great fun!

The rules for Saturday morning include:

-  At Risk People should stay in their car or away from the gatherings (more than 15 ft) or at home

-  Face masks are required, and bring hand sanitizer if you have some

-  Contact info will be required (sign in sheet) incase covid is discovered by attendees within 14 days

-  Limit of 50 people and 6ft distancing required

We are all looking forward to returning to Scout and can't wait to see everyone!  We have missed you all!  If you feel comfortable coming to join us, we would love to see you there!
