Hi all,

Just a reminder about the upcoming week in scouts.

Monday - We have been invited to visit Troop 97 from 6:45 to 8:15.  I know that several scouts have already visited a troop (or two) so it is your decision to attend (or not).  Requirements for scouting adventure are to attend an outdoor activity with a troop, so this will fulfill those requirements.

Tuesday - Regular den meeting at Lopez Elementary 7:00 PM.  We are going to teach the Whittling Chip to the Bears who join us for several meeting.  To prepare for this, please have your scout read the following attachments so they are prepared to lead the activities (with Oversight)  They are also allowed to bring their knives, although they likely will not be using them, only showing the bears how to be responsible with them.

Finally, Troop 90 has invites us to join them again.  They are changing quite a few things so I wanted to pass along their details for your information.  They are the troop that invited us to Camporee, so some of you have already experienced them.

I would like to invite you and your cub scouts to the Troop 90 Webelos invite night.    Come and learn what Troop 90 has to offer and see if it's a good fit for your scouts.

There are BIG changes happening at troop 90.    Starting in December we are moving both our meeting night, and location!     Meetings are moving to Wednesday nights.    Our new location will be the Christ United Methodist Church.    For McGraw and Lopez families, this cuts the round trip drive down by 3 miles.
