Final Den meeting for Webelos at Lopez - 7pm Tues Feb 4th - Special Guest!!

Hello Scouts and Families

It is hard to believe we are reaching our final meeting for our Dens.
All our our scouts have worked hard and now going to earn their Arrow
of Light. Pack 116 will celebrate on Wednesday Feb 19th and Pack 193
will celebrate on Tuesday Feb 18th. It has been fun to work with
these boys and to watch them grow and develop!

For our last Den meeting on Tues. Feb 4th. we are going to have a
special guest. We are going to have Officier Caleb McDowell from the
Fort Collins Police Department come speak to our group. Let's all try
to think of a some good questions we can ask ahead of time. Please
make sure we are on our best behavior.

Afterwards I will have some note cards so the boys can write a quick
thank you note.

A couple of final housekeeping items.

1) Some families have already decided about which Troop they are going
to go to as the scouts bridge over to Boy Scouts. For families that
still are undecided you are welcome to spend a few minutes after the
meeting and we can discuss this so we can make a decision. We will
need to let the troops know so they can attend our Blue and Gold
Ceromonies.

2) Chuck has graciously lined up the Lopez School to use for our
meetings. The school charges an $18/night rental fee for the use.
This is something that Chuck has just paid of out of his own pocket.
Some families have already given some money but if you haven't and you
would like to contribute some money towards reimbursing Chuck, please
come see me or Chuck after the meeting.
