Greetings Scout fam,
Tomorrow Mon. 1/27/25 we have our first day of derby prep. We will meet at the church as usual. As we enter into derby season for the next few meetings, we want to ask for volunteers to help with the wood cutting & construction of the cars. So if you have any woodworking/carpentry knowledge or if you know your way around a power tool, we are looking for you. Thanks in advance.
Camp cards are available. Cards are $10, $5 of which will go towards the cub’s account. The cub can use the money for any scout activity such as camping, scout challenge or even for next school year’s renewal fees.
Scouts of all ages are invited to attend Scout Day at the Georgia State Capitol on February 25, 2025! Scouting prepares young people to be good citizens. Spend the day witnessing first-hand the political process in Georgia. Watch your legislators recognize your Scouts from the House Gallery and have a chance to ask actual representatives your most pressing questions!

**Ron (our former Cubmaster, current Scoutmaster & Charter Org Rep) wants to make parents aware that visiting the capital has been seen as a little boring by the cubs that went but we still want to invite them. If your cub likes politics & government, then they’ll enjoy this visit. **
