Hello,

I found myself with a Bair reloader which looks like a clone of the Pacific DL150. (Found it at the local dump in the scrap iron pile, of all things). It appears to be complete, except for the station #4 shell holder, shot & powder containers and the primer seating tool. I would like to find some sort of bushing chart that could help me reload my first set of 12-gage shells . In addition, do you have any ideas on how I can seat the primers into these shot shells?  I’ve reloaded pistol and rifle, but this is my first go at shot shells.

Those missing parts are pretty critical. You could prime the shells with a wooden dowel. set the shell over the primer insert the dowel into the shell and tap the primer in with a hammer. Lee Loaders work that way. The shell holder is more difficult. There is no source for them except on the used market. Honestly, if you are serious about this I can sell you a very nice DL155 complet in 12 Ga for $50 plus shipping. I think you'll be ahead in the long run. FWIW, the shot bushings on the DL presses like the powder bushings are the same as the bushings on the DL366 and can be purchased from Hornady.

Hi there
My Daddy left me a DL-150 which I have just started using. It works
Great. Seating the primer is no real problem. Are you missing thePress
part or the primer holder and spring? I can send you drawings for both
if you need them. I am also in the process of making a charge bar that
eliminates the need for powder bushings and will accommodate a number
of powders and grain weights.

Hi RogerGunsmith,

I too had a  12ga.DL150 (maybe a Bair clone. Still researching) that fell in my lap. It is missing the priming cup and spring. I would be quite interested in those drawings you mentioned so I can fabricate it. Everything else seems to be complete.

I'd also be intested in hearing about the charge bar you mentioned.

Kind regards!

I fabricated a proper spring loaded priming post and disk. Thanks anyhow!
Now for a manual... Grrr...

Mr. Boers,

I am missing those parts in my DL-150. Could you share the method by which you fabricated one, so that I may do the same?

Thanks!

OK, so there is something that goes on the hole where the primer gets pressed in. May I have a copy of that drawing? My neighbor is a machinist.
Thanks,
Winn Pauley
