Hi all
I have so many questions to ask and hopefully someone may give me some answers.
Ok, i purchased an old pacific dl 366 so my first question is how can i find out how old it is.
It looks like its set up for 2 3/4 inch 12 gauge and seems to index all stages fine. My next question is can i load 3inch by adjustment or do i have to replace parts and if so, which and where from.
If it helps to age this press i can tell you it does not have a swing out wad guide and does not drop finished cases at back.
I don't know anyone here in UK that has one of these presses but from what i can find out it's a great bit of kit.
Its a tall order i know to expect answers to all my questions but hopefully you guys may have some answers.

It is not extremely old, the 366 was the last press Pacific produced
before Hornady bought them out. To convert to 3 inch you will have to
buy a 3" die conversion kit which can be bought through Hornady or any
reloading retailer carrying Hornady 366 parts. Hornady still carries a
lot of the old pacific parts and being yours uses all current 366
parts you will have no troubles finding them. Go to hornady.com and
you can download a free instruction manual and order all of your parts
needed. Hope this helps

Thanks for that reply Mike, i have been on a few websites and
downloaded some great stuff. The only problem i have is the press i
have drops a primer ok but when it gets moved to the reprime station
it drops into the hole at an angle most times.I have taken out the
parts and polished the top so primers slide easily but it still does
it??? i have the resess to the right on the primer hole face as it
sugests.Any ideas on a cure would be a great help.
Thanks in advance
