Cynthia (Blankenship) Coit September 25, 1947 ~ February 14, 2009 At
age 61, Cynthia went home to her Lord unexpectedly on Valentine's Day.
She was a graduate of Pacific Grove High School and Monterey Peninsula
College. She loved all things: video, space, science, sewing, cats and
her family. She was an accomplished violin and flute player and as a
singer, she was fantastic. Her music will be missed. Cynthia is
survived by her loving husband of 39 2/3 years, Dennis; children,
David, Sarah and Mary; sons-in-law, Steve and Jay; daughter-in-law,
Misty; grandchildren, Kaitlan and Jonathan; parents, Stanley and Mabel
Blankenship; brother, Stan; and many other relatives and friends.
Cynthia will be celebrated at a memorial service Saturday, February
28, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church, 479 Blossom Hill
Rd., San Jose, CA.
