Carmel Dodson, 88, passed away at home March 5, 2013 due to a long illness. A native of Pacific Grove, Carmel retired from Rideout Hospital after 25 years of service. Survivors include five sons: John Alan Gene of Yuba City, Jim Dodson of Sacramento, and William Dodson of Australia; one daughter Donna Dodson of Yuba City; seven grandchildren: Cedric, Zachery, Reece, Audra, of Yuba City, Sherry Baughman of Livermore, CA, Billy Davidson of Alameda, CA, Alissa Dodson of Dallas, TX; and six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Eugene (Buck) Dodson, daughter Sheila Dodson, grandson Aaron Dodson. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marysville. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in San Pablo at a later date.
