DUNN -- Marion Elizabeth Walton, a dedicated wife, mother and retired business manager, died Saturday November 11, 1998 in Palm Springs, California. She attended the University of California Berkeley from 1936 to 1939. Marion was happily married to George W. Dunn for 58 years, a renowned engineer whose revolutionary designs spanned from aquatic parks to theme parks, including a progressive environmental system for the Penguin Encounter exhibit at Sea World. He died March 25, 1997. Marion setup and managed his business operations for Dunn and Associates, later Dunn-Lee-Smith-Klein & Associates, for over 20 years. Marion was a PEO member for 45 years and a very active member in several Episcopal Churches in the South Bay area. Marion is survived by a brother Theodore Walton of La Mesa, California, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bob and Loretta Guinn of Sacramento, California; a sister-in-law Bernice Walton of El Cerrito, California; a daughter Candace Morgan of Portland, Oregon; two sons Michael Dunn of Lincoln, Nebraska and George W. Dunn III of Sacramento, California; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services are scheduled today at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 25th St. John's Episcopal Church, 7601st Ave., Chula Vista 91910. Donations are suggested to the church for a memorial window.
