Diana is a third year doctorate candidate with an emphasis on
Marriage and Family Therapy. She had RNY surgery January,
2011, and is a support group leader for PBSG in Los Alamitos,
California.

Diana specializes in stress and anxiety management as it relates
to weight loss surgery patients. She says “stress and anxiety can
play a significant role in our daily living, and without proper
management one can struggle with accomplishing goals and
realizing dreams.”

Diana focuses on learning to deal with new emotions that result
from weight loss surgery, developing new coping skills after
weight loss surgery, boundary setting, embracing the new you, and
finding balance in your life to support you throughout your weight
loss journey.

Greetings from Los Angeles!

I attended Diana's support group for the first time last week in Los
Alamitos. It was a very positive encounter and a supportive
environment. I plan on returning. She is all about the action items,
taking small positive steps every week to keep moving forward.
