Hi Brian.

I am sick of bike racers already and would love to get out with all of you for a skate.

The problem is I had surgery on both knees last November (meniscus tears) and my skating future is a little uncertain. Doctors and therapists say "no." I am ignoring that for now and trying to ease my way back into skating - but only been out a couple of times on my own so far. Will see how things progress - keeping my fingers crossed that with a little luck I'll be able to skate with you guys soon!

Tom Stergar - I hope you foot surgery went well and you are back on the skates.
