The Montgomery County Heath Department inspected the intermediate
school on 12/7/01, arriving at 10:00 am departing at 12:10. The
inspection was made due to a complaint of mold and water damage inside
relocatable units.
The handwriting on two pages is very difficult to read, but here is
what can be ascertained:
- Water stained ceiling tiles at connecting link to rooms 120-125
- Cracked windows room 120
- One cracked window room 123
- Broken table room 124
- Door to electrical distribution room with heavy paint chipping on
exterior
- Down spouts of relocatable units discharge water at foundation
- Connecting link to rooms 126-129 with slight water stain in carpet
- Connecting link to Rooms 126-129 witht orn seam in carpet
- Water stained ceiling panels in connecting link to rooms 126-129
- One water stained ceiling tile in Hallway outside room 128
- Torn carpet seam in Rooms 133, 131 and 130
- All univents appeared to be clean with clean filters
- No visible mold was observed on any walls, floors or ceilings
- All ceiling vents appeared to be clean and dust free
- All carpet appeared to be clean
MCDH recommended:
Replacing all water damaged/stained ceiling tiles or panels
Repairing or replacing door with paint chipping at electrical
distribution room
Extending rain ____ away from foundation
Repairing, replace all broken and cracked windows
Repair/replace all damaged carpeting
