wanted sex partners OR: I just thought I would remind people to let your
elected politicians know
that your not satisfied with the amount of pollution in Pa. and
Philadelphia. I can't always add the links to the information provided for
with the latest studies and associated
health risks, but my subjective view, is its very dangerous to live and walk
and breathe Philly andf Pa. Air. This view is based on the
many articles that have been published recently . This is also based on the
increase of asthma all over our nation .Like I reminded others earliers,
even when the air monitoring charts at
http://www.state.nj.us/dep/airmon/sdelval.htmwhen the air charts
measures the air as moderate, this is not even aceptable according to
recent scientific evidence! Over time, recent studies
suggest , walking and breathing even moderate air can cause premature death
and asthma, and lung cancer, not to mention other connected ailments.
The chart for Particulates in the air , is an especially important and bad
indicator .
Philly and metro area has one of the hightest average daily
concentrations in the US of Particulates .. Of course being downwind from
coal producing
states don't help the situation or everyone deciding to buy gas guzzling
SUVs at the same time don't help but I guess if people don't get sick
immediately and they only get sick down the line , thats ok? ..There is
only so much time we all have on
our earth, and before you and your family go out to the shore or park,
realize that even if you stopped smoking or drinking heavily or even if you
never started and try to do the best
for your family and community , it may not be enough. I am especially
outraged by our tv stations and media's insistence to ignore this pollution
situation.
I guess high ratings can't be expected if people find the quality of living
issue bad in Philly . I guess the Philadelphia Inquirer can't expect to
increase its circulation if the people start to pack up and move. I am
suggesting that people do pack up and move thats how bad the air is many
days in Pa. Many links to the articles I
saved were unfortunately removed or replaced, but suffice to say, this is
not an alarmist view. Its basically not safe to live in Philly and Pa
anymore. Just see how many drug companies target this region for medications
to fight allergy and asthma in this region. This is not by chance! I know
three people out of five
with asthma in my family. Forget everything else we have to live through to
make it through the day, our air is terrible and while many people think,
they
are doing something for their health by exercising or going for a leisurely
stroll, chances are you MAY NOW be doing more damage to yourself , then if
you stayed
indoors and did nothing, thats what some scientists have suggested! ! .
Since the air indoors is not much better , I
suggest going to a health club with well ventilated air circulation system,
or moving. I will say this one more time, if our media's attention to this
issue is indicative of future concern for our health, you can expect to be
the last ones to hear
about terrible outbreaks of new diseases or terrorists attacks . The
media in this city is horrific. The forecast for today is Sunny , go out and
visit the shore? Can you say I don't think so? Can you say they don't even
mention when the air quality is or the related implications? Horrific !
