DESCRIPTION
Minimum requirements:
-2+ years of practical experience as a DBA working in an IMS/DB/CICS
environment
-Backup/Recovery/Tuning of IMS databases
-IMS/DB applications development experience working in an IMS/DLI
environment

Primary responsibilities:
-Maintain the performance and availability of the IMS database test and
production environments
-Assist the applications team in the development and enhancements to the IMS
system
-Provide training, documentation and standards in support of the IMS
environment


REQUIREMENTS
Basic skill requirements:
-Above average communication skills (written and oral)
-Ability to work with all areas of I.T. as needed to accomplish project
objectives
-Ability to handle multiple tasks
-Ability to prioritize and make decisions independently
-Previous experience in an IMS environment in the role of a DBA and
Applications Developer
-Possess a working knowledge of all DB utilities
