OKAY. Rate is $60 -62/hr.
Siebel Principal Administrator This position’s primary responsibility
provides application administrator support for various projects and
environments, including monitoring, troubleshooting, tuning,
installation, upgrades, deployment to various environments. Also
provides 24/7 application support on an ongoing basis.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES •Conduct system support activities for
program language compilers, editors, system utilities, reporting
tools, and database query tools •Troubleshoot performance and
availability issues in a highly available environment Responsible for
monitoring, bug fix and resolving production support incidents
•Monitor hardware utilization, database utilization, and system
response time •Assist in capacity/performance management, trend and
error analysis to determine system changes required •Support, plan,
conduct, and/or coordinate the testing and implementation of systems
software •Ensure technical and validation documentation is completed
as needed throughout the project lifecycle and support efforts to
maintain a validated system state •Responsible for implementation,
administration and configuration of Siebel UI functionality, Siebel
architecture components and CTI functionality •Responsible for Siebel
application security architecture •Perform third party application
integrations, upgrades and patches •Support a global environment with
multiple languages and character sets •Monitor capacity and
incremental growth adjusting for actual capacity usage vs. planned
usage •Deployment of new Web Services (BPEL and ESB) •Apply and
coordinate application, OS and Web Patches (Install and Coordination)
EDUCATION REQUIRED •Bachelor's degree OR 8 years of work experience in
lieu of a 4 year degree or a combination of work and education to
equal a 4 year degree
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE •5+ years IT experience S
PECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED •2+ years experience in Siebel on
Premises environment •Working knowledge of Solaris, general multi-tier
application structure and networking concepts, and Oracle databases
•Knowledge of Siebel 7.7 or 7.8
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS •Strong working understanding of
Siebel application structure and administrative processes
•Understanding of Oracle SOA requirements •Experience working in a
fast-paced team environment •Experience leading technical teams
•Experience managing customer expectations •Ability to work
independently with minimal supervision •Knowledge and understanding of
support environments •Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Ability to handle multiple and/or large projects and activities
•Strong technical aptitude and analytical problem solving skills
•Ability to develop, document, design, and communicate complex
environments and infrastructures •Strong customer focus,
collaboration, adaptability, and planning and organization skills
•Ability to make decisions and recommendations while considering
various geographic and business requirements global strategies
•Experience in Multi Org and Multi Lingual in Siebel •Strong
organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
•Certifications in Siebel 7.x, MCSE, CCNA •Experience supporting
Siebel in a life science or pharmaceutical environment •Experience
with SOA/Fusion Administration or similar technology
