Description: This is a full-performance level technical classification responsible for analyzing, classifying, tracking, and testing customer requirements with regards to form and report development as well as assisting in analyzing application modifications and new functionality. The selected candidate will work under minimal supervision, displaying initiative and independent judgment.
Typical Duties: Analyzes, classifies, and tracks detailed customer requirements; works with developers to develop detailed functional and technical specifications. Reviews screen, form, and report specifications and prototypes with end-users; describes detailed problems and approaches to end-users in a non-technical manner; reviews and revises documentation accordingly. Performs analysis and testing tasks to ensure functionality meets user needs; works with end-users directly to fully understand problems and issues. Trains trainers on details of the applications and assists them in understanding technical issues. Assists in analyzing new tools and approaches; develops new tools for in-house maintenance and support. Performs 2nd level support activities to monitor, track, and resolve issues. Performs analysis using SQL and other means to perform problem solving activities; assists in the analysis and maintenance of user customization values. Assists in data clean-up and validation activities Prototypes, specifies, and develops reports using Access and Crystal Reports.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; AND One year systems analysis experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, and / or experience may be considered.
Miscellaneous Requirements: Satisfactory criminal history checks. Advanced proficiency with Access, VB, SQL, and Crystal Reports
