QVCs Broadcast Department has an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to become a Production Artist in our Broadcast Acquisitions at our Studio Park location.
Under the general supervision of the Product Display supervisors, supports the photographer and retouches images for the web site. Responsible for ensuring the product is exactly what the customer will receive with regard to color accuracy, quantity, and integrity of product. The Production Artist needs to work independently and when needed confirm with photographer on product clarification.
Qualifications & Requirements
• An undergraduate degree in design or a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• 1 years experience in image retouching or related field or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
• Excellent Photoshop and Scene 7 skills-will be working with programs daily.
• Knowledge of authoring is a plus
• Knowledge of digital photography a plus.
• Responsible for retouching large volumes of images shot by the web photographer by preparing templates, creating clipping paths, retouching and color correcting.
• Responsible for ensuring the product is exactly what the customer will receive with regard to color accuracy, quantity, and integrity of product.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Excellent time management skills; ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated and able to collaborate with photographers as well as work independently.
