Do you know how to use an e mail program?

If so, you might be eligible to participate in a user study!

Our research group at the University of Pittsburgh is looking for
participants for a study related to usability of e-mail programs (not
webmail).

In order to be eligible, you must:

* Be at least 20 years old
* Be a native English speaker
* Be currently working or have worked for a company where you have
been or were assigned an email account of such company
* Not hold (or being currently pursuing) a degree in Computer Science
and/or Computer/Electrical Engineering related professions (including
Information Sciences, Information Technology, Software Engineering,

technical user
* Have experience with an email program like Microsoft Outlook 2000/

Eudora,Pegasus, Incredimail, etc. under Microsoft Windows and not only
webmail interfaces (Squirrel, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.)
* Have at least basic experience with Microsoft Word (creating,
opening, saving and formatting documents)

In our study you will have to perform some tasks related to handling e-
mails (including creating and replying emails with and without
attachments, and opening attachments). You will read some introductory
material related to the experiment and then perform the tasks
assigned.

You will be scheduled to participate in at least one session that
could last from 30 to 120 minutes (more than 90 minutes is unusual).

We will compensate you with a payment of between $15 and $22 for your
participation.

For more information to sign up, please contact us with your
availability (days and times) until May 31 (2009):

* Monday-Friday: 10:00am to 6:00pm
* Saturday: 10:00am to 4:00pm

Note: If you have already participated in the previous round of this
study, unfortunately you are not eligible to participate in this one.
