Q: Is the $5 refund a bribe to get people to come out and race in the muck?

A: Yes, it totally is. Also I think to drive up women's reg which is a bit light for this race. One of the promoters (Michele Bote) raced a bunch years ago, had some great swag for amateur women last year, and totally gets it re: racing opportunities. So let's drink this bribe/kool-aid!

We had practice on the course last night and it is RAD!!! The course was wet and they loved it, no issues.  The Swashbuckler Kraken (flyover) gave the guys wide eyes but once they were riding, it was fine!!!  Bad Andy gives us a thumbs up!!!  He is a tough critic as he is professional all around and we value his input.  We will be tweaking the course in a few areas to scrub some speed and string things out.  Our food venue is awesome.  We have KIND coming by noon and they have awesome samples.  One of the swag prizes is a KIND bag of goodies, too.

We have a cool new vendor selling KAbooties! And she is donating one to the women 3/4 race.  I will post about her products on facebook today.  

Don't let the weather turn you away.  Whatever we get-is what cyclocross is all about.
