Confronting the Risks of Hydraulic Fracturing

"Our team of [non-industry supported] scientists, engineers, policy experts, lawyers and computer programmers pores over government data, legal documents, scientific studies and our own laboratory tests to expose threats to your health and the environment, and to find solutions. Our research brings to light unsettling facts that you have a right to know."

*Here's a good rule to follow:

As the saying goes... "Follow the Money". When you seek out information, always look into who's paying for it. Do you think for one minute that the gas and oil industry [or any other industry] is going fund, distribute, or publish any information, study, etc., that would threaten their: legislative approval, shareholder investment, or corporate bottom line? Of course not. They are always going to tell you what they want you to hear. The same with politicians. Look into who's funding their campaigns and connect the dots. I can assure you, no politicians gets campaign funding, perks, gifts, or favors from any source that doesn't expect 'quid-pro-quo'.

The Environmental Working Group is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to using the power of information to protect human health and the environment. The majority of their funding for the comes from grants, private foundations, and individual donations. They only recieve 2.2% of their funding from corporations.
