On Tuesday, January 18th TOM CORBETT will become the new Governor of
Pennsylvania. Corbett will be faced with the challenges of Fracking
for Natural Gas. So far, our new Governor has signaled through his
campaign contributions and the people he chooses to bring into his
Administration that he is not on the side of the families who are
being hurt by the Fracking and drilling process.
GAS TRUTH of Central PA is calling for a RALLY FOR CLEAN WATER, AIR,
AND COMMUNITIES on January 18th at 10:30 AM at the State Capitol in
Harrisburg. We are issuing a challenge to GOVERNOR TOM CORBETT to
accept the GAS TRUTH PLATFORM.
GAS TRUTH PLATFORM:
-- Immediate moratorium on all drilling
-- Preserve our clean air and water
-- Require Oversight and Accountability: Beef up inspections
-- Respect Our Property Rights: No forced pooling
The following leaders will speak at the GAS TRUTH RALLY to make our
points:

Ralph Kisberg, President, Responsible Drilling Alliance of Lycoming

Dr. Thomas Jiunta, Gas Drilling Awareness Coalition (Luzerne County)

Pittsburgh Councilman Doug Shields
Myron Arnowitt, Chair, Pennsylvania Campaign for Clean Water

daughter Emma may but is afraid she will not get through without
crying.
