Why isn't this story being reported by the media in the PA? How many advertising dollars does it take to bury a news story that gives the gas industry a well deserved, justifiable black-eye?
Doesn't the industry realize that these stories are still going to get out, and are going to be published, way or another, and it makes them look worse? We already figured out the gas industry is NOT our new 'good neighbors'. Good neighbors don't endanger, or threaten the safety of others in 'the neighborhood'!
Just like the accident on the rig in Sullivan County on 1-14-2011 where a rig worker had to be life-flighted out with 'serious injuries', but they never did the follow up that stated the rig worker was actually killed? The gas industry is more worried about OSHA cracking down on them, and community resistance then they are about people and chump-change state fines.
How many incidents/accidents will be considered enough?
