P6Spy for production use

Hi. I opened up a issue #535 to add a appender for no logging.

 

My main question is, has any testing been done around timing it whether there would be a performance issue with p6spy was running but not logging?

 

I’d like to run it in production without logging. We have a modified version of p6spy that adds a cast to a parameter before it goes to the database (issue #534), and turns logging off.

 

We have not noticed a timing hit, as it fixes our problem, but I am wondering if someone has done some production testing with p6spy running? Can you please share some results?
