I didn't try it yet, I'll give you some feedback as soon as I have it
running (end of the week probably)

I have a fresh install of Lion on my hackintosh!

I wanted a clean install on an empty HD (SSD OCZ Vertex 2).
For that I've followed this guide:
http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=256729

iBoot (to create a boot CD) does not support yet Lion, thus the way to
go is to use a USB key.
When iBoot will be released for Lion, installation will be as easy as
Snow Leopard.
I didn't tried the xMove method suggested by TonyMac as I found it too
complex at first look.
For now a lot of different methods are floating around, I spend quite
some time to find one that seems "professional" and generic. MaLd0n,
the author, really knows what he is talking about.

The simplified steps are :
- Using your "old" SL system or another Mac; download Lion installer
- "Copy" Lion BaseSystem on the USB key
- Install Chameleon on this very same USB key + another stuff on it cf the guide
- From now you don't need anymore your old SL system; boot the PC
using the USB key
- Follow Lion installer instructions
- Reboot to Lion after install (so with the USB key)
- Under the newly installed Lion, install Chameleon (using MultiBeast
for example) with the right kexts and DSDT (copy them somewhere since
you won't have internet out of the box with Lion).
all this is pretty logical :)

It's working fine. Sound does not work anymore (since 10.6.8 in fact)
but the solution is known on the insanely forum, I have to update the
wiki

Sleep does not work under Lion (CMOS reset)
My GPU (ATI HD5570) gets really hot
The second ethernet card does not work out of the box as before

I recommend for those who want a stable system to wait a bit for the dust to settle (at least 10.7.1)
