Hi

I was just curious.

Is the http://www.plone4artists.org/ definitely defunct?  will it be taken online again in a possible future?

What about http://plone.tv/ ?

Kind regards.

p4a has been moved to the plone collective, you can find everything there + trac data. http://svn.plone.org/svn/collective/p4a/

I don't know about the happenings of p4a.org, perhaps Nate Aune will say at some point. IIRC, it shows what p4a can do.. must confess though i've not seen it in a while.

I wouldn't say that the project dead... For the most part the product works. We've been using it for a few years now on our 3.3.5 production site. I've also been testing a branch of video and audio that enables blobs to work.

IMHO this is a great slew of add-ons for Plone. If i can paraphrase what Lennart said once (prolific p4a.calendar maestro).. (IIRC) calendaring etc is really nice but unless its needed in a project, with paid support, there really isn't going to be much developer activity for free.

Sooooo, I guess that's the state we're in at the moment.

If there's something specific that you need help with or have questions, ask the forum. That's what we're here for.

Regards

Thanks Eric,

Currently I'm doing a maintenance for a customer site after 7 months of being online. It only has Audio and Video plus a bunch of products for Blogging and doing Image galleries. Right now I'm modifying my buildout to use mr.developer and download the products directly from the collective (very useful with trac).

I was just curious about the website (p4a.org). I recall that 7 months ago there was a plone site there.

Kind regards.
