FundCamp France 2008 scheduled for March 17

We have been announcing the launch of FundCamp France 2008 lately.
FCF008 will happen on the week of march 17 - 2008. 20 projects will be
preselected to spend an intense week of exchanges and coaching in
Paris. At the end of the week, a dozen of French business angels will
select 5 or more projects to which a funding of 25k EURO
for 10% in capital will be offered. The business angels will then
coach the winning projects for the next 6 months in order to reach a
funding round by the end of year 2008.

Beyond this French event, FundCamp is an open format where processes
and tools can be freely replicated to hold national (or international)
initiatives anywhere. We have now an official wiki site for FundCamp
where anyone interested in organizing a FundCamp can post there
http://fundcamp.org

We hope that a lot of similar initiatives will soon pop up across
France, Europe and the rest of the world.
