Hi Alison,

I am a research scientist at Georgia Tech's Center for the 21st century universities, which aims to explore new technologies for better and more affordable learning. I'm currently working on an open course evaluation and recommendation project at . The main idea is to find the most appropriate open course that meets a student's request based on the course's ratings from other students and social relationships among the students. For example, we assume a student will trust a friend's rating more than others', or trust someone who the student has talked to before.

One key step of this project is to collect students' ratings on different open courses and study the students' relationships in a learning community. Since P2Pu is an active online learning community, I am wondering if you have done any similar course evaluation survey with your users. Alternatively, may I distribute a web survey among the P2Pu users and collect course ratings myself? Also, is it possible for me to access some of P2PU users' activity data (e.g. how often one logs in and how long one stays)?
